Sue Wiles was born in Bristol, educated at UWE, where she attained her HR qualifications.
Sue is an experienced senior HR professional with over 35 years HR experience. She has operated at senior level in organisations such as HSBC and Osborne Clarke, and now successfully runs her own HR consultancy, focusing on small and medium enterprises, helping them with a wide range of people related matters including engagement and wellbeing.
Sue is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
She has an instinctive skill in identifying the “real issue” in difficult people situations, and is passionate about helping organisations to get the best out of their people, and coaches managers and leaders on a regular basis to increase their effectiveness.
Drawing upon her knowledge of employee engagement and wellbeing, she is often asked to train line managers, with a positive focus on how line managers role have potential to influence the motivation of individuals to increase engagement with the organisation’s objectives.
She is regularly called in to help organisations where there is a sickness absence issue or an employee is showing signs of stress/ health problems.
Sue provides a key HR link with employers in the Bristol area, promoting wellbeing as a key tool for employers in their engagement agenda, on behalf of the House Clinics.
Sue loves singing, was also a Musical Director for a large choir for many years, and loves swimming and body boarding in Cornwall.
